Chemung Speedrome Postpones due to Mother
Nature

The management of the Chemung
Speedrome was forced to cancel their August
5th program due to rain. With consistent
storms in the area and potentially being
strong to severe storms, the decision to
postpone was made.
Racing action returns to the Chemung Speedrome on Friday August 10th for
the highly anticipated return of the Race of
Champions Modified Tour 125. The INEX
Legends will be racing for a National
Qualifier spot for their National
Championships in October at the Atlanta
Motor Speedway in Georgia. The Super Stocks,
4 Cylinders and the INEX Bandoleros will all
be on the racing card. Pit gates will open
at 4:00pm on Friday afternoon with the
grandstand gates opening at 5:00pm and
racing will begin promptly at 6:30pm.
Grandstand admission will be $20 for adults,
seniors 65 and over will be charged $18 and
students 6-12 years of age will be charged
$6. Kids 5 and under are free with adult
admission.
The Chemung Speedrome is the Southern Tier’s NASCAR Race Place every
Sunday afternoon starting at 2:15pm. Pit
Gates open at 11:30AM and the grandstand
gates open at 1:00pm. For more information

points calculated goes towards the overall
NASCAR Whelen All-American Series
