Mother Nature Wins One at Chemung Speedrome

The management of the Chemung
Speedrome was forced to cancel their July
15th Mid-Season Championships program due to
rain. With consistent storms in the area,
the pull was plugged on the racing card.
With this rain out also comes some schedule changes. The Chemung
Speedrome will be off the next two weeks,
July 22nd to allow drivers and fans to go to
the Oswego Speedway for the 62nd Race of
Champions 200 Weekend and on July 29th to
give the fans and drivers the opportunity to
compete at the “Concrete Castle”, the
Shangri-La II Motor Speedway for their RoC
and Crumble event, which is a make up from
earlier this season. Another schedule change
will be the Summer Shootout 30 for the INEX
Legends. The race presented by Petty
Motorsports Media and Brock Moore
Motorsports Media will now be scheduled for
Sunday August 19th.
Racing action returns to the Chemung Speedrome on Sunday August 5th for a
regular show featuring the NASCAR Whelen All
American Series. The SUNOCO Modifieds. Super
Stocks, 4 Cylinder Mini Stocks, Crate
Sportsman, INEX Legends and Bandoleros are
on the racing card. The Chemung Speedrome is
the Southern Tier’s NASCAR Race Place every
Sunday afternoon starting at 2:15pm. Pit
Gates open at 11:30AM and the grandstand
gates open at 1:00pm. For more information

points calculated goes towards the overall
NASCAR Whelen All-American Series
