The decision to make this addition comes after a very successful season opener at the Chemung Speedrome. The Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Tour has had some very memorable events at the super fast speedrome and the upcoming 75 lapper should be no different.

Race of Champions Tour Director Andrew Harpell stated, “We have always had great races at the Chemung Speedrome and we are very excited to have this opportunity to return.” The Roc officials and Chemung Speedrome General Manger Chris Zacharias have worked closely in the past several weeks to help make this event a reality. Harpell added, “We were very happy to see the success Chemung had during their opener as I know Chris and his team have worked very hard on the project.”

The past Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Tour events at Chemung have been action packed right to the end. Last year J.R. Kent held off a hard charging Eric Beers for the popular victory in the Roc tour stop at Chemung. T.J. Potrzebowski, Matt Hirschman and Jim Long, Jr. rounded out the top five.
